Botox is a brand name for the leading product in the anti-wrinkle injections market. It is a prescription only product that can only legally be supplied and administered by trained and qualified medical professionals, and Botox aims to reduce the appearance of wrinkles for aesthetic reasons, and can also be used for medical reasons, such as to help stop clenching of jaws, and to stop excessive sweating.

There are also many other anti-wrinkle injectable brands, which aim to work in the same way and give the same results. But, whilst there are many other anti-wrinkle injections, Botox is the original, best known and most widely researched and tested. Where can I get Botox in London?
You should only ever get Botox from a medical professional. It’s a prescription drug and it’s illegal for anybody else to administer the drug unless they have a prescription from a Doctor or a Dentist. It’s always best to choose a medically qualified professional for your Botox injections because they will fully understand the body the anatomy of the face and how the muscles work, plus they will also be fully indemnified and trained for this treatment and for all eventualities.
Whilst it may sound like a great idea to find someone online or maybe a High Street beautician who may offer Botox at a cheaper price, anyone thinking about getting Botox in London, for safety reasons, must ensure that the service provided meets legal requirements and is administrated by a medical professional only.

Every single facial aesthetic treatment at the booth of youth starts with a free consultation with Dr Anna, our lead facial aesthetics professional. At this consultation she will explain the services available, look at your individual case, check your medical history, and if appropriate she can prescribe Botox anti-wrinkle treatment to help you achieve your aesthetic or clinical goals. She will also discuss the process, benefits and risks tailored to you as an individual.
The next visit will be to do the Botox treatment itself. This typically takes 15 to 30 minutes depending on which zones you are having done, and although any injection might come with a little bit of pain, treatment is typically fairly painless.
Once you’ve had your Botox injection you need to follow the post-operative instructions which your Facial Aesthetics Professional will advise you of, and after two weeks you will come back in for a quick free review (if required) where any top ups or adjustments can be done. Adjustments and Botox top ups cannot be done after two weeks, so it’s very important that if the Botox hasn’t delivered the exact desired effect that you’ve been looking for, that you do attend your review appointment.
If you’re happy with your Botox treatments, then you just need to let us know in advance, and you do not need to attend this appointment.
How long does Botox treatment last?
Whilst the amount of time that Botox injections last will depend on the individual patient, the aesthetic results of Botox anti-wrinkle injections will last usually around three to four months. After that point, they can be done again to maintain the reduced wrinkle appearance. More details will be given at your free consultation.

Who can have Botox?
Like any medical treatment, there will be variables between patients as to who can and can’t have Botox anti-wrinkle injections. That’s why we give a free consultation to all patients to discuss and review everything clearly, and plan whether Botox treatment is suitable for you.
Technically, all adults can have Botox (subject to assessment and medical confirmation above), but typically we would not recommend Botox on younger patients or those over 65 years of age (unless they have been using it prior to this and it is delivering results).
